Artist of the Week WINNER - Dan Crosby!

Congratulations Dan!

Dan Crosby is exploring the world of ‘Pataphysics; the indeterminate solutions
to imaginary science, and notions beyond metaphysics (example: Time travel).
The research so far has taken him to understand the formations and analysis
of psycho-sexual Paraphilia, beginning with Erotophonophilia all the way to his
self-postulated fetish ‘Leukhtamophilia’, the desires towards obtaining light;
bioluminescence.

Born in Burnley 1988, works in Manchester and is currently planning to do at
least one show in each city in the U.K before 2013. One of his goals is to become
a ‘Pataphysician. He has had interest from galleries in London and news papers
contacting him about his piece ‘Ideas Towards Perfection’, though he refused
publishers and interviews, the work gained some notoriety amongst the audience
due to its content. Dan is an installation artist, but also works in painting, drawing,
sculpture and writing.
